A Gold Medal Walkthrough of GTA 5 Mission Number 8 The Good Husband. It’s an optional mission for Michael. In this mission, Michael receives a phone call from his wife Amanda who has been caught shoplifting at the Didier Sachs store in Rockford Hills area and, she wants her husband Michael to help her out. In this mission, you as Michael have to choose between helping Amanda or not helping Amanda. If you choose to help Amanda, you’ve to reach the Didier Sachs store in Rockford Hills area before the timer runs out. When you reach the store, you’ll find that a police officer is arresting Amanda. At this point, you can do one of the following two things:
1.) Take away the police car in which the officer arresting Amanda has put her in and evade the police chasing after you.
2.) Be quick and kill the police officer arresting Amanda. Then, Amanda will get inside your car. Now, evade the police.
By the way, killing the cop arresting Amanda is a good idea in both scenarios as it prevents Michael from being shot at by him. In both options, you as Michael have to drive Amanda back to your house after evading the police.
However, if you choose the option to not help Amanda, this mission will be skipped. To get a gold medal in this mission, you just have to help complete it by helping Amanda.
