GTA 5 Mission # 66 Sidetracked – Gold Medal Walkthrough

A Gold Medal Walkthrough of GTA 5 Mission Number 66 Sidetracked. In this mission, Trevor, using a Skylift helicopter and a little help from either Michael or Franklin steals a freight engine and a flatbed carriage from the Davis Quarry. First, he steals a locomotive and takes it to Sandy Shores Airfield where he loads it onto a trailer that will transport it to storage arranged by Lester. After that, Trevor steals a flatbed rail car using the same method all over again. The train engine and the flatbed rail car will remain in storage until their use later in the Big Score which is the reason Trevor stole them. Following are the requirements for getting a gold medal in this mission:
1.) Mission Time – You’ve to complete this mission in under 4 minutes and 30 seconds. For this, reach the train track switching point by driving alongside the rail tracks as this saves time compared to getting there via the Davis Quarry’s entrance. Also, keep in mind that use of special abilities of both Michael and Franklin in a mission reduces the overall mission time. Lastly, it seems as if this mission does not account for the cutscenes in the overall mission time so, skipping them is optional.
2.) Undetected – You as either Michael or Franklin have to switch the train tracks without being detected by the two railway workers present at the rail track switching point. For this, use stealth and a suppressed firearm, and kill the two railway workers with a headshot.

Lastly, I would like to apologize for the fact that I watered-down the quality of the video in the editing process to compensate for the horrendous upload speed of my internet connection and to make matters even worse, YouTube lowered down the quality even further after me uploading it.
