A Gold Medal Walkthrough of GTA 5 Mission Number 26 Scouting The Port. This mission starts with Trevor, Floyd, and Wade having a conversation at Floyd’s residence. After that, the three men put on longshoremen uniforms and go to the Port Of Los Santos. On their way, Trevor reveals to Floyd that he wants to steal something valuable from the Port and needs inside information on what’s coming into the Port. After that, Floyd mentions about a Freighter sitting at the Port and being guarded by Merryweather. After that, the trio reaches their destination, and Floyd sends Wade on a waste spill clean-up job. After that, Floyd takes Trevor as close as possible to the cargo ship protected by Merryweather. After that, the duo is told to move two containers from one bay to another which they diligently do to prevent blowing up their cover. After that, Trevor tells Floyd that he needs to get even closer to the vessel to take some pictures of it. Hearing this, Floyd unwillingly tells Trevor about a crane. After that, Trevor goes to the crane that Floyd told him about. On the crane, Trevor is ordered to load two shipping containers on two trucks which he does to maintain his cover. After that, Trevor takes pictures of the watercraft and sends them to Ron. After that, Trevor and Floyd take a loaded trailer to the Los Santos Naval Port where Trevor is stopped by Merryweather guards when he tries getting in. After that, Trevor acts as if he’s a trucker who doesn’t understand English, got confused and arrived for delivery at the wrong address. After that, Floyd tries to talk his way out with Merryweather guards but, they force him to the ground, and beat him up. While Merryweather guards trash Floyd, Trevor steals a briefcase containing information about the thing that Merryweather’s guarding and he’s planning to steal. After that, Trevor goes back to Floyd’s house. On the way, he calls Ron and talks about the thing Merryweather’s protecting. At Floyd’s place, Trevor has a conversation with Wade which Floyd joins in moments later. After that, Trevor plans the Merryweather Heist. After that, Trevor calls Michael to get him and Franklin onboard for the heist. After that, this mission comes to an end. To get a gold medal in this mission, you’ve to accomplish the following:
1.) Time – You have to complete this mission in under 20 minutes. There’s no need to skip any cutscenes as this mission seems to not account for some of them in the overall mission time and the time limit is adequate.
2.) Employee Of The Month – Finish this mission without causing any damage to the containers. For this, I would advise treating the containers gently but, don’t waste time treating them like a baby.
3.) Perfect Surveillance – Take three photos of the vessel as instructed. For this, take one picture of the front of the ship, one of the guards onboard, and one long shot of the back of the ship.
4.) An Honest Day’s Work – Complete this mission without causing any disturbance at the Docks. This gold medal requirement is automatically fulfilled by mission completion as any disturbance at the Docks results in mission failure.
